Exercise

Exercise is an extremely useful tool in overcoming the effects of abuse and the resultant poor self-esteem, self-worth, anxiety and depression which can make a person more likely to smoke, abuse alcohol or drugs, or overeat.

Exercise can release natural endorphins and help purge the body of stress, tension and illness by amending an immune system that has been impaired by depression and anxiety disorders.

Exercise also boosts brainpower by increasing serotonin which makes you more productive. It also improves health in many ways along with improving self-image. It makes women and children feel stronger and more capable of overcoming the adversity they have faced.
